Children are the future, our future! Children are not only important members of our families, but also of society and the Church of tomorrow. Our vision here at Hide-n-Seek is to love, nurture, and educate children in a manner that will prepare them to step into their unique individual roles that God has intended for them. Hide-n-Seek Christian Daycare has been offering high quality child care for over 20 years in the Mifflin County area. We are licensed by the Department of Human Services and are Pennsylvania Keystone Stars designated.
Hide-n-Seek Christian Daycare offers a safe, developmentally appropriate, nurturing, and faith-filled environment. Trained teachers plan a daily schedule of activities designed to enhance the social, cognitive, physical, and spiritual development in each classroom. Our nursery provides a warm, calm, and inviting environment. Your baby will be cuddled and talked to throughout the day. Hide-n-Seek provides a variety of toys and equipment to stimulate and strengthen young children’s motor and language skills. Curious toddlers will be welcomed into a warm, fun, and supportive environment. Toddlers will follow a consistent routine through music, structured activities, and play. Our preschool programs help prepare children for their future school days. The Creative Curriculum is used to help your child grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Learning centers are provided that address all areas of development. The before and after school program for children in Kindergarten through 6th grade provides times and space for children to work on homework and also includes activities such as arts and crafts, clubs, games, and indoor and outdoor play. Field trips are planned during Summer Camp in addition to these activities, providing an active week for the children.
Our moto at Hide-n-Seek is, “Child care that keeps of Caring”, and that is exactly what we do, Care. We encourage children to receive God’s love. We pray with and for the children, teaching them to pray as well. We instill Biblical principles and endeavor to be living examples of Christ through our own behavior and interactions with the children.
